Dave from Wild Stag Studio went in to Brighton University last month to talk to the entrants of the Santander University of Brighton Enterprise Competition, which aims to discover the best new business ideas from current students and graduates at the university.
The entrants had a training day in which they were schooled as to how best to pitch their products to the judges who would in turn pick their 3 favourites to go on and win the large cash prize and expert advice on how to send the business forward.
It was an absolute honour to have Dave chosen to talk the students through how best to tailor a video pitch and what to look for in making a short video stand out after the year or so he has been running our Brighton based video production company. “It was quite a different and nerve racking experience as I’m used to being behind the camera, but it was a real learning curve for me and I hope the students managed to take something out of what I had to say and it helped them make that winning pitch!” he said.
Dave is looking to work with the competition again in the future and is hoping to work closely with the university on future projects so watch this space!
